Low-cost airline Flyafrica.com has recently introduced a new daily service into Zimbabwe linking Johannesburg and Harare.

Earlier this year, the airline launched direct flights between Johannesburg and Victoria Falls on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.  As of 1st December 2014, Flyafrica.com is set to launch a Harare-Victoria Falls service on these same days.

Although the early departure time (06h20) from Johannesburg on the Harare link may be a touch challenging for some; by undercutting other carriers on these routes (by e.g. excluding fuel surcharges and charging passengers for extras such as in-hold baggage, in-flight meals etc.), Flyafrica.com is confident that their ‘revolutionary’ approach shall appeal to travellers to Zimbabwe looking for an affordable, “no frills” pay-for-what-you-want flight option.

The airline is also planning new routes into other destinations within Zimbabwe and surrounding regions, including Windhoek, Lusaka and Cape Town.

Flight bookings can be made online, or via a local travel agent.
