The Jafuta Foundation is a non-profit organisation focused on helping humans and animals alike by creating and maintaining an equilibrium between community, wildlife and conservation, education and culture. Jafuta encourages community-based handcraft and artwork production and showcases these emerging African artists’ work at retail outlets that provide a market for their handcrafted goods.
The curio shop at Zambezi Crescent Collection’s Victoria Falls River Lodge, stocks these unique pieces of African arts and crafts. Proceeds are managed separately, and all profits are donated to the Jafuta foundation to assist in the continuation of their work in the local community.
